So finally the end had to come. We are back from a two weeks great vacation in Argentina. The first week we spent fishing in Corrientes for Golden Dorado in river Paraná. A very exotic place, with a lot of sun, heat, insects and monkeys. The fishing is the hardest most tuffest i have encountered in my hole life. A lot of high intensity casting with a fast pace. Cool when the dorado finally hit the fly like something from a other planet. The fishing was a great experience but sorry to say a bit slow. The dorado wasn´t ready to hit the fly most of the time, and it wasn´t until the dawn they became more in a hunting mode. The dawn is over rather quickly so you don´t have a lot of chances. We also had some encounters with other species like the Pacú, Sábalo and the dorado cousin Pira Pita.
Herés some pictures from Per´s camera.

The final week we spent in Las Buitreras enstancia at the Rio Gallegos fishing for Sea-trout or majestic chrome from the sea. This is a great place to be and i´m not talking solely about the fishing. The logde is astonishing and the staff, food/wine and service is superb. It was very little water during the whole time but we where in some way lucky, because it came a run of fish in the beginning of the week, disturbin the fish already in the river and creating a better fishing situation. The Argentinian sea trout here is worth traveling a long way to meet. Strong fish and not seldom fishes around +20 lb. Great stay with good friends and superb guides and campstaff.
